Content and Publications Committee

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of the Journal of Digital Imaging (JDI), SIIM NEWS, and Expert Hotline.
• Coordinate and manage SIIM publications according to SIIM publication policy.
• Develop and coordinate publications based on activities of the Education and other SIIM committees.
• When vacancies occur, recommend new editors for publications.
• Interface with JDI editor on editorial issues/content.
• Consider new publication methods and material.
• Recommend new publications and revision or retirement of SIIM's existing publications.
• Coordinate and oversee content for the SIIM website.

Membership:

The Publications Committee was established in 2001 when the Publications & Education Committee was split into two committees. In 2009, the committee's name was changed to the Content and Publications Committee to better reflect multimedia publishing and content development and management.
